Our story

Karin Sportbod is a family business with roots in Lofsdalen. In our shop you’ll find fashion, interior design, fishing gear and sports clothing for children and adults. In addition to the store, we accommodate a well-stocked bike rental with Electric MTB’s and regular MTB’s from Scott.

Karins Sportbod was founded by Karin and Sven-Emil Backman in the late 1970s. Today the company is headed by their son Emil Backman, CEO, along with Emila Hed, store manager. Throughout 41 great years, we have helped our customers make their stay in Lofsdalen both fun and memorable. We hope you become one of them!

Karins Sportbod is located right in the center of Lofsdalen close to every­thing. You just drive straight ahead as you enter in Lofsdalen until you see the center. Karins Sportbod resides on the seaside near Ica Lofsdalen, the camping and tourist office.
