Find us
Karins Sportbod is located right in the center of the mountain village of Lofsdalen and is close to everything. You just drive straight ahead as you enter Lofsdalen until you see the village center. Karins Sportbod resides on the seaside side of the road near Ica Lofsdalen, the camping, and Lofsdalen Ski Resort facilities office.

Our story
Karin’s Sportbod is a family business with its roots in Lofsdalen. In our shop, you’ll find fashion, interior design, and sports clothing for children and adults. In addition to the store, we offer a large and well-stocked ski rental service. Outside Karins Sportbod, the popular snowcat tours to Våffelstugan and Sömlingshågna commence and conclude. For summer guests, we have a bike rental option MTBs from Scott.
Karin’s Sportbod was founded by Karin and Sven-Emil Backman in 1982-83. Today the company is being managed by their son Emil Backman, CEO, along with Emilia Hed, store manager, and Kiki Penders, rental manager. Over the last 41 years, we have assisted our customers in ensuring their visit to Lofsdalen is both exciting and memorable. We hope you become one of our satisfied customers!
